Every year, I would set the same new year’s resolution of losing weight and getting my body ready for the summer. Every year, I would have the same result. I’ve always avoided thinking about dieting and every time I tried, I would quit a couple days later.

However, I found out small changes to my lifestyle were easy. There were two main categories I thought of: Food and Activity. I tackled my eating habits first. All I did for the first month was eliminate chips from my diet. Just this small change helped me lose 2 pounds in my first month without modifying anything else. It was easy. Next, I eliminated soda from my diet. Each month, I eliminated one thing from what I was eating. Following small changes made a daunting task much more manageable.

This was a great start for me in 2019. However, it wasn’t until my friend told me she has been sticking to a keto diet. She had lost 15 pounds over 3 months and felt like a new person.
